The German Society for Materials Science (DGM) cordially invites you to the 8th International School and Conference on Biological Materials Science – Bioinspired Materials (BioINSP 2026), scheduled for March 4–6, 2026, in Siegburg/Bonn, Germany, with online participation options.

BioINSP 2026 provides an interdisciplinary platform to discuss the latest developments and research in the field of bioinspired materials. We welcome submissions on topics including:

Design and Synthesis of Bioinspired Materials: Innovative approaches to mimicking natural structures and functions.
Characterization and Analysis: Methods for investigating the properties of bioinspired materials.
Applications in Medicine and Technology: Practical implementations across various industries.
Theoretical Models and Simulations: Computational approaches to predict the behavior of bioinspired systems.
Sustainability and Environmental Compatibility: Development of eco-friendly materials based on biological models.

Abstract submissions for lectures, poster pitch presentations, and posters will be accepted starting January 2025. The submission deadline is August 26, 2025. Detailed submission guidelines and templates are available on our website.
