Call For Papers

CIBB is a multidisciplinary forum for researchers interested in the
broad application of computational intelligence to open problems in
bioinformatics, biostatistics, systems and synthetic biology, and
medical informatics. CIBB is looking for contributions on current
trends and future opportunities at the interface between computer and
life sciences, as well as applications of computational intelligence
to system and synthetic biology. Computational, theoretical and experimental
biologists are encouraged to participate and present their experiences
facing novel challenges to foster multidisciplinary collaboration.

Authors are invited to submit a short paper (4-6 pages) describing
their original contributions. Submitted contributions will undergo
peer review, and all accepted contributions will be orally presented
in plenary and special sessions.

-** The DEADLINE for short paper submission is May 15, 2024 **-

Authors of all the accepted short papers presented at
the conference will be invited to submit an extended version of their
manuscripts to the conference proceedings book in Springer Lecture
Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) or to a supplement in a journal such as
BMC Bioinformatics or Journal of Translational Medicine (details to be
defined).

In addition to the main track, the conference will provide a
few special sessions focused on specific topics of interest for the
CIBB audience. To this aim research groups are invited to propose a
special session. A typical session includes 3 to 5 accepted papers
and may feature an invited speaker, who should be a distinguished
scientist with significant contributions to CIBB-relevant fields.

-** The DEADLINE for special session proposal is March 20, 2024 **-

Further information can be found on the conference website.
