ICUSI, the International Conference on User-System Interaction is a scientific forum on research and development of interactive systems. ICUSI is a follow-up with a broader scope of the previous RoCHI conferences (https://rochi.utcluj.ro/icusi/previous-editions/).
Practitioners from corporate environments (e.g., designers, developers, graphics expert, user interface analysts, team leader) as well as people from academia (e.g., professors, students, and researchers ) and any other person interested by human-system interactions are gladly invited to contribute and participate to ICUSI 2024 Conference! Topics: Original contributions are welcomed in the following User-System Interaction (USI) areas: interaction with mobile devices, web interfaces, intelligent user interfaces, tangible / virtual / augmented / mixed reality, multimodal user interfaces (multimedia, vocal, gestures, haptics), natural language-based interaction, contextual approaches (activity theory, Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW)), user-centered design, implementation, and evaluation, social aspects in USI, model-based approaches, design tools, quality of interactive systems (user experience, usability, accessibility), predictive models, education in USI, Artificial Intelligence applications in USI, socio-technical systems, applications and case studies. More details about Topics of interest that each type of contribution could be found at: https://rochi.utcluj.ro/icusi/topics-of-interest/ Publication: The proceedings will be published in ICUSI Proceedings, submitted for indexation to ISI, Scopus, and DBLP databases. Original research work may be included in a Special Issue of the Sensors journal published semimonthly online by MDPI. Submission information: All submissions should be written in English language (double blind review process). All the papers will be edited according to the ACM-CHI format, adapted for A4 paper size, that can be downloaded from the link: https://rochi.utcluj.ro/icusi/wp-content/uploads/ICUSI_Proceedings_Format__camera_ready.doc The following submissions types are expected: - long papers (research theory & practice for interactive systems) – 6 or 8 pages, - short papers (theory, tools, case studies, practical experience, workshop proposals) - 4 pages, - demonstrations - 2 pages. Submissions should be made through the EasyChair conference management system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icusi2024 |
