The Latin American Journal of Computing - LAJC is a Diamond Open Access double-blind peer-reviewed journal, sponsored by the Faculty of Systems Engineering of Escuela Politécnica Nacional, one of the top research universities in Computer Science in Latin-America (wwww.epn.edu.ec)

LAJC publishes new results in different areas of computer science, informatics and information and communication technologies (ICTs). The goal of this Journal is to bring together researchers and practitioners to present original unpublished research papers, technical articles and state-of-the-art reviews for publication.

As a Diamond Open-Access Journal, LAJC HAS NO ARTICLE PROCESSING OR PUBLICATION FEES.

SUBMISSION

Authors are invited to submit original research papers, technical reports and state-of-the-art reviews for publication in the Latin-American Journal of Computing (LAJC). Manuscripts are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other journal/conference at the same time. All submissions will be carefully evaluated based on their originality, relevance, and technical soundness.

Being an Journal with international readership, authors are encouraged to submit their work in English, although Spanish manuscripts are also accepted. Detailed information about submission of manuscripts can be found here: https://lajc.epn.edu.ec/index.php/LAJC/about/submissions

Please, make sure you follow the submission guidelines carefully, otherwise your paper will be rejected.

LAJC has a semi-annual periodicity and is permanently receiving manuscript submissions.

Prospective authors are cordially invited to contribute to the journal by submitting their manuscripts for the upcoming issue (2024-2) to be published on the early days of July 2024, or the succeding issue (2025-1) to be published the first days of January 2025.

For publication in the July Issue (2024-2):

- Send manuscripts from 18 September 2023 to 31 March 2024.
- Accepted articles will be published during the first days of July.

For publication in the January Issue (2025-1):

- Send manuscripts from 1 April 2024 to 17 September 2024.
- Accepted articles will be published during the first days of January.

Manuscripts submitted after these deadlines will be reviewed for the next upcoming issue.
