We cordially invite you participate in the special session "Fuzzy and intelligent methods in Data and Text Mining" that we will be held in Fuzz-IEEE 2024 as part of WCCI 2024 in Yokohama, Japan. Further information about the conference can be found in https://2024.ieeewcci.org/
Deadlines - Paper submission: January 29th, 2024 - Acceptance/rejection notification: March 15th, 2024 - Camera-ready paper submission: May 1st, 2024 - Conference dates: June 30th - July 5th, 2024 In an era characterized by an unprecedented deluge of data, the ability to extract meaningful insights is paramount. Fuzzy logic has emerged as a pivotal tool in handling uncertainty and imprecision inherent in real-world data and text. This special session aims to delve into the innovative applications, methodologies, and advancements in employing fuzzy logic and intelligent methods for data and text mining. Fuzzy-based approaches have demonstrated remarkable adaptability in dealing with complex, noisy, and incomplete data sets, making them invaluable in various domains, from healthcare and finance to natural language processing and sentiment analysis. We encourage submitting cutting-edge research, shedding light on how fuzzy methods augment traditional data mining techniques. Moreover, papers exploring their efficacy in extracting nuanced information from unstructured text data are welcome, opening new avenues for understanding and leveraging textual information. We anticipate that this session will serve as a catalyst for insightful discussions, fostering collaboration among researchers, academicians, and practitioners. Together, we aim to not only push the boundaries of what is currently achievable but also inspire future breakthroughs in the realm of data and text mining. We extend our warm welcome to all participants and look forward to a stimulating exchange of ideas and knowledge-sharing during this session.
