ABOUT

KKIO is a series of software engineering conferences, organized under the auspices of the Polish Information Processing Society since 1999, with the mission to promote international collaboration within the field of software engineering, artificial intelligence and related areas.

The conference invites researchers and practitioners to submit papers concerning emerging challenges and solutions for software engineering industry. A particular focus on validation and/or demonstration of practical applications of the proposed approaches and solutions is expected, although we welcome also novel fundamental approaches.

As a result, KKIO intends to be a forum for presenting the practical aspects of software engineering relevant to the IT industry (including challenges and needs), research ideas and solutions aimed at addressing such aspects, and a place to establish the cooperation between scientific and industrial partners.

The scope of the 24th KKIO conference includes a wide range of areas related to software engineering (outlined in conference topics list), as the practically-oriented proposals applicable to any SE area are welcome. The conference also invites experience reports from various sectors of the IT industry.

PUBLICATIONS

During the conference, the Conference Preprints of all contributions accepted for presentation the FedCSIS Conference, with papers divided into appropriate volumes, are going to be presented to the FedCSIS participants on a USB memory stick and made available within the conference website. Preprint volumes do not carry ISSN, ISBN, DOI or IEEE Catalog numbers.

Soon after the conference (with about 7 days to submit final / small corrections), all full and short papers are going to be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and published electronically in a volume of "Annals of Computer Science and Information Systems" (ACSIS).

ACSIS Volumes with Proceedings of the FedCSIS Conference are submitted for indexation in Web of Science, SCOPUS, DBLP, Index Copernicus and other indexing services (see Indexation for more details). The IEEE Xplore DL Proceedings are published with an ISBN, ISSN, IEEE Catalog and DOI numbers, under a nonexclusive copyright.

Position and communication papers are published in separate ACSIS volume(s) and they are not submitted to the IEEE Xplore DL. This means that they are not submitted to indexing in Web of Science.
