In conjunction with the 43rd IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS 2023), the 5th Series of 3SC-E2C International workshop will be held.
The building Software Services in Smart City through Edge-to-Cloud orchestration (3SC-E2C) workshop focuses on software-assisted environments for urban environments. We welcome strong papers exploring the theme of ‘Building Software Services in Smart Cities’, mainly focusing on Edge-to-Cloud orchestration. This workshop brings together researchers, developers, practitioners, and stakeholders interested in the advances and applications of smart cities. In addition to this, we look forward to new proposals for the large-scale management of data, software/service, and cybersecurity in the Smart City environment. Topics of Interest (but not limited to): 1. ICT Technologies, Architecture, and Platforms in Smart Cities; 2. Data Management Technologies, Architecture, and Platforms in Smart Cities; 3. Big Data Driven Technologies, Architecture, and Platforms in Smart Cities; 4. Privacy-Preserving ICT Architecture in Smart Cities: Ecosystem, Life Cycle, Layered Architecture and Future Roadmap 5. Innovative services in Edge-to-Cloud computing networks in smart cities, particularly IoT, smart sensing, and Artificial Intelligence technology; 6. Serverless Architecture for large-scale IoT networks of smart cities; 7. Microservice Architecture for large-scale IoT networks of smart cities; 8. Edge-based or Edge-to-Cloud based real-time applications in smart cities; 9. Federated and distributed learning for enhancing Privacy-Preserving ICT Architecture; 10. ICT solutions within and across the city based on Edge-to-Cloud orchestration for building/developing software services in Smart Cities focusing on privacy-preserving and modern ICT technologies. |
