======================================================================

The International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications (FPL) was the first and remains the largest conference covering the rapidly growing area of field-programmable logic and reconfigurable computing. During the past 32 years, many of the advances in reconfigurable system architectures, applications, embedded processors, design automation methods and tools were first published in the proceedings of the FPL conference series. The conference objective is to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry and from around the world.

The 33rd edition of International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications (FPL 2023) will be held in Gothenburg from 4th to 8th September 2023. The 2023 edition of the conference is organized by Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Contributions within (but not limited to) the following topics related to Field-Programmable Logic and Applications are very welcome:
- Architectures and Technology
- Application Acceleration
- Programming Models and Languages
- System Software and Environment Support
- Design Methods and Tools

FPL2023 follows the same approach introduced in FPL2022, allowing the submission to a journal track that relies on the ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems (TRETS).

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
=======================
Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers and can choose two alternative formats that correspond to two distinct processes: Journal Track and Regular Track.

Journal Track: The Journal Track is specifically intended for original contributions (i.e, no conference-paper extensions are allowed) that would benefit from the longer articles possible in TRETS (up to 32 ACM-style single-column pages), e.g., for clearer presentation of complex research, or an in-depth discussion of comprehensive results. Accepted Journal-Track papers will be invited to present their work at the FPL2023 conference.

Regular Track: Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers in IEEE double column format. Submitted papers are limited to 6 pages plus references (references must not exceed two pages). This is a strict limit, and papers exceeding this limit will be rejected automatically.

More information on the submission process can be found on the conference website (see Submission Information).
