2023 Power Electronics and Power System Conference (PEPSC 2023) is organized by Hangzhou Dianzi University, technically sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, IEEE PES Chongqing Chapter, PELS Membership Committee - China, PELS Chengdu Chapter, Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), WiS-CPSS, CPSS Transactions on Power Electronics and Applications(CPSS TPEA), supported by Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems, Journal of Power Supply, which will be held in Hangzhou, China from Nov. 24 to 26, 2023. The theme of PEPSC 2023 is "Digital, Intelligent Power Conversion and New Power System".
This conference is aimed at providing a platform for all researchers and engineers to share ideas, highly developed skills and successful practices to others. The conference will last for 3 days with the reception to be held on the first day to meet and mingle with conference chairs, session chairs and other participants.
We would like to invite you to join us in this important event and share your recent advance development and research finding in Power Electronics and Power System to all attendees. Besides, it is also a good opportunity for you and your family to enjoy the culture and view in Hangzhou. We are looking forward to seeing you in PEPSC 2023.
●Publication and Indexing
All the registered and presented papers will be included in the volume of PEPSC 2023 Conference proceeding. The publisher will submit articles to EI Compendex, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication.
*Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish on international journal.
Prof. Josep M. Guerrero, Alborg University, Denmark
Josep M. Guerrero received the B.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering, the M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Catalonia, Barcelona. In 2022 he received the M.Sc. Degree in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Since 2011, he has been a Full Professor with AAU Energy, Aalborg University, Denmark, where he is responsible for the Microgrid Research Program. From 2019, he became a Villum Investigator by The Villum Fonden, which supports the Center for Research on Microgrids (CROM) at Aalborg University, being Prof. Guerrero the founder and Director of the same center (www.crom.et.aau.dk).
His research interests are oriented to different microgrid frameworks in applications like digital twins, cybersecurity, maritime electrical ships, seaport electrification, nanosatellites, bioecological systems, and smart medical systems. Prof. Guerrero is an Associate Editor for a number of IEEE TRANSACTIONS. He has published more than 900 journal papers in the fields of microgrids and renewable energy systems, which are cited more than 90,000 times. During nine consecutive years, from 2014 to 2022, he was awarded by Clarivate Analytics as Highly Cited Researcher. In 2021, he received the IEEE Bimal Bose Award for Industrial Electronics Applications in Energy Systems, for his pioneering contributions to renewable energy based microgrids. In 2022, he received the IEEE PES Douglas M. Staszesky Distribution Automation Award, for contributions to making the hierarchical control of microgrid systems a practical reality.
Prof. Jinjun Liu, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China
Dr. Liu received for many times governmental awards at national level or provincial/ministerial level for scientific research/teaching achievements. He also received the 2006 Delta Scholar Award, the 2014 Chang Jiang Scholar Award, the 2014 Outstanding Sci-Tech Worker of the Nation Award, the 2016 State Council Special Subsidy Award, the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics 2016 and 2021 Prize Paper Awards, the Nomination Award for the Grand Prize of 2020 Bao Steel Outstanding Teacher Award, and the 2022 Fok Ying Tung Education and Teaching Award. He served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS since 2006, 2015-2019 Executive Vice President and 2020-2021 Vice President of IEEE PELS, and was elevated IEEE Fellow in 2018. He was the 2013-2021 Vice President for International Affairs, China Power Supply Society (CPSS), and the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of CPSS Transactions on Power Electronics and Applications. He was elected the President of CPSS in Nov. 2021. Since 2013, he has been serving as the Vice Chair of the Chinese National Steering Committee for College Electric Power Engineering Programs.
