The 12th International Workshop on Variable Structure Systems is scheduled to be held on January 12-14, 2012 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The VSS workshop brings together the international community of researchers and practitioners in the area of Variable Structure Systems and Sliding Mode Control.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is one of the premier engineering institutes in India. The Systems and Control group at IIT Bombay is the largest group in India with focus on control systems research. The VSS'12 will feature presentations of contributed and invited papers as well as tutorial sessions. Moreover there will be at least 3 plenary talks and 20 invited talks on very recent advances in Sliding Mode Control.
