Call For Papers

The international conference Humanities Going Digital: Teaching, Training & Research Experiences aims at presenting and discussing training, teaching and research experiences contributing to Digital Humanities, i.e., the field at the intersection of computational and digital technologies and all the disciplines of the Humanities.

We invite contributors – teachers, students, researchers, and curators – to present their experiences and work on using and/or perfecting new technologies and digital competencies; innovative curricula and courses; innovative training and teaching methods; and open/distance/hybrid learning; and also on opportunities, challenges and solutions in Digital Humanities. Topics may include but are not limited to:

. Analysis of macroscopic trends in cultural/social change
. Cultural analytics
. Cultural patrimony preservation and representation
. Digital archives
. Knowledge design
. Online curatorship and publishing
. Sustainability of the access to methods/tools/resources in an educational environment
. Textual mining, analysis, and visualization
. Wikimedia projects

Other related topics are welcome!

Abstracts must be in English, with 750 to 1000 words, and submitted via Sciencesconf.org (New Submission) by the 1st December 2022 (anytime on Earth).

After the conference, the authors of the accepted communications will be invited to submit a full paper to be published in a special issue of the International Journal of Humanities and Arts Computing (indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, among many others).
