ICEOGI 2023 is an international conference for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with Earth Observation (EO) and Geospatial Information (GI) technologies and applications. It also offers an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges and adopted solutions in the fields of EO and GI.

The idea of ICEOGI 2023 stems from the ongoing collaboration and exchange of experience held within the context of the SEED4NA project, where two algerian academic institutions are involved, The University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) and The University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella (UORAN1).

The first edition of ICEOGI is co-organized by the Laboratory LTIR (Laboratoire du Traitement d’Images et Rayonnement/Laboratory of Image Processing and Radiation) of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of USTHB and the Laboratory LITIO (Laboratoire d’Informatique et des Technologies d’Information d’Oran/Laboratory of Information Technology and Computer Science of Oran) of the Faculty of Exact and Applied Sciences of UORAN1. It will take place in Algiers, Algeria, May 22-24, 2023.
