2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics and Control Engineering (RobCE 2023) Nanjing, China | May 12-14, 2023 https://www.robce.org/ 2023 3rd International Conference on Robotics and Control Engineering (RobCE 2023) will take place in Nanjing, China during May 12-14, 2023, which is organized by Southeast University, sponsored by Jiangsu Instrument and Control Society, Jiangsu Association of Artificial Intelligence-Technical Committee on Robot, China Instrument and Control Society-Technical Committee on Haptic Sensing and Interaction, School of Automation, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Advanced Robotics Research Institute, supported by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), media supported by MDPI-Robotics. Focusing on the international research and key application domains of robot and control engineering, around the theme of innovative development of intelligent society, RobCE is going to conduct high level academic communication and display the latest achievements, build the international collaborative innovation platform. ●Publication & Indexing All the registered and presented papers will be temporarily included in Conference Proceedings of RobCE 2023. The publisher will submit articles to Engineering Village, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication. ***The Conference Poreceeding of RobCE 2021 was published in ACM International Conference Proceedings Series and indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus. ●Speakers Prof. Valentina Emilia Balas Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. Cum Laude, in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 350 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation.She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national, international projects and PhD Thesis. Dr. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations, Programs and Projects in the same university.She served as General Chair of the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications (SOFA) in nine editions organized in the interval 2005-2020 and held in Romania and Hungary Prof. Heshen Wang Shanghai Jiao Tong University Dr. Hesheng Wang received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology. Harbin, China, in 2002, the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Automation & Computer-Aided Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Associate Professor in 2009. Currently, he is a Professor of Department of Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He worked as a visiting professor at University of Zurich in Switzerland.
