The Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies - LACLO
has been taking place annually since 2006, the same year that the
Latin American Learning Objects Community (LACLO) was created.
It has been organized in different Latin American countries, and in
2022 its 17th edition will be held at the beautiful city of Armenia,
Quindío - Colombia, in the heart of Colombian eje cafetero (coffee
axis), framed by the Andean mountains. In this occasion, LACLO will
occur in parallel with CLEI 2022 and Colombian Computing
Conference.
Learning technologies can now be considered a cornerstone of the
new era of education, with the power to improve educational
attainment and in the core of all solutions found to deal with the
recent educational challenges imposed by COVID-19 pandemics. In
this context, LACLO aims to be a forum where researchers, software
developers, teachers and other education professionals can
exchange experiences on several aspects of technological
development applied to the context of teaching and learning.
