Finding ways to prevent non-excessive consumption of resources, improvement of product quality, and recycling of used materials especially in the field of construction industry are crucial elements for sustainability and the well-being of future generations. In order to address these issues, the Iranian Journal of Materials Science and Engineering is planning a thematic special issue on various aspects of construction materials.
The journal welcomes the contributions of researchers all around the world.

About the Journal
IJMSE is a scientific research journal that is published quarterly by the Iran University of Science and Technology, Iranian Metallurgical Society, and Iranian Ceramic Society. It publishes original scientific research papers in the broad area of materials engineering. IJMSE is indexed in Web of Science, Emerging Source Citation Index, Islamic Worlds Science Citation Center, and also in Scopus since 2009. It has recently moved to Q2 in the Engineering category of Scopus with 0.8 Citescore and 0.17 SJR.
