2022 3rd International Workshop on Smart City and Intelligent Systems (WSCIS 2022) Nov. 4-6, 2022 | Sanya, China https://www.wscis.org/ 2022 3rd International Workshop on Smart City and Intelligent Systems (WSCIS) will be held in Sanya, China, from Nov. 4 to 6, 2022! WSCIS is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME). WSCIS welcomes articles in the field of Smart City and Intelligent Systems, dealing with new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, demonstration, advanced deployment and case studies, results of laboratory or field operational tests, under the general theme of Smart City and Intelligent Systems. On behalf of the organizing committee, we'd like to send our honest invitation to all distinguished researchers and practitioners to have an open dialogue for Smart City and Intelligent Systems in WSCIS. ●Publication & Indexed All registered and presented papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The publisher will submit articles to Engineering Village, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication. ●Speakers Prof. Yonghong Peng Head and Director of the University RKE Centre for Advanced Computational Science (CfACS) Manchester Metropolitan University, UK Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Head and Director of the University Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) which conducts research on AI, Data Science, Cyber Security and Mathematical Modelling (fluid dynamics). Chair of Big Data Task Force IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (2014-2021). His research concerns the advancement of AI technologies that helps improve the performance of data science life cycle, including - data preparing and selection, knowledge generation and reasoning, and the decision making or decision-making support. Another side of his research concerns the integration of human behaviour and knowledge into the process of decision making to power the Artificial Intelligence systems. Prof. Ji Zhang University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Prof. Ji Zhang is currently a full professor in Computer Science (equivalent to a distinguished/endowed professor in North American universities) in School of Sciences, Faculty of Health, Engineering and Sciences at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia. He is an IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, ACM Member, Australian Endeavour Fellow, Queensland Internatioal Fellow and Izaak Walton Killam Scholar (Canada). He was the Principal Advisor for Research for the Division of ICT Services at USQ (2010-2013). Prof. Zhang's research interests include big data analytics, data science, data mining, machine learning and computational intelligence. Prof. Yingxu Wang University of Calgary, Canada Dr. Yingxu Wang is professor of cognitive systems, brain science, software science, and intelligent mathematics. He is the founding President of International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (I2CICC). He is FIEEE, FBCS, FI2CICC, FAAIA, and FWIF. He has held visiting professor positions at Univ. of Oxford (1995, 2018-22), Stanford Univ. (2008, 16), UC Berkeley (2008), MIT (2012), and distinguished visiting professor at Tsinghua Univ.
