The Euro Working Group on Decision Support Systems (EWG-DSS), under the umbrella of EURO (the Association of European Operational Research Societies), invites you to participate in the 8th International Conference on Decision Support System Technology (ICDSST 2022), with its main theme on “Decision Support addressing modern Industry, Business and Societal needs” in Thessaloniki, Greece. The Conference will be hosted at University of Macedonia, during the period of 23th May to 25th May 2022.

The Organizing Committee of the ICDSST 2022 invites researchers, educators, developers, specialists and other professionals in the related areas of decision-making, including its methodologies and technologies, as well as application oriented practitioners directed to the implementation of solutions for decision support challenges, to submit their work to the ICDSST 2022 Conference.

We encourage submissions addressing (among others) the suggested topics listed below. Authors are requested to submit full papers, short papers or posters. Full papers should be 11-13 pages long using LNBIP template from Springer by following “Instructions for Authors”. Short papers should have up to 6 pages and should use the Short-Paper ICDSST 2022 Template. Posters should use the Poster ICDSST 2022 Template. Accepted submissions will either be published in the Springer LNBIP Book (long papers) or in the ICDSST 2022 Conference Proceedings (short papers and posters). All templates can be found in the ICDSST2022 Homepage CfP page: https://icdsst2022gr.wordpress.com/call-for-papers/. All papers and posters should be submitted to the ICDSST 2022 via the following EasyChair account: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icdsst2022.

As in previous EWG-DSS ICDSST Conferences, accepted papers may be published through various means, including the conference proceedings, Springer book series – Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP), and Special Issues in DSS related journals, including the International Journal of Decision Support System Technology (IJDSST), the official partner Journal of the ICDSST conferences, and another journal special issue (to be announced). Proceedings of the ICDSST 2022 on “Decision Support addressing modern Industry, Business and Societal needs” (containing abstracts of all accepted papers, with an ISBN number) will be Guest Edited at the University of Macedonia.
