Call For Papers

Department of Economics and Finance at Tallinn University
of Technology will host the 13th Conference "Evolving Challenges in European Economies" from 16–17 August 2021 onsite in Tallinn, Estonia. The event is organised in
collaboration with the Bank of Estonia and Association for the Study of East European Economies and Cultures (USA).
You are invited to submit papers for presentation and
discussion. We would especially encourage submissions on
linkages between individual behaviour and economic
performance; micro-level responses to socio-economic
challenges in face of global uncertainties; real sector
implications and labour market responses to the changing
economic environment; connections between changes in
the economy and the financial sector, and related
opportunities; macroeconomic effects and economic policy
considerations under global change. Submissions on other
topics are also very welcome.
Keynote Speaker
It is our great pleasure to host as keynote speaker Professor
Juuso Välimäki, esteemed Professor of Economics at Aalto
University. His research focuses on dynamic games of
incomplete information and on topics in mechanism design.
He has been for a long time the Main Editor of the highly
ranked Journal of the European Economic Association.

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts or full papers
by 5 July 2021 by e-mail to ecee@taltech.ee. The submitting
authors will be notified of the decision by 10 July 2021, but we
seek to respond earlier to those who submit earlier.
