Call For Papers

"Llantrisant: A Reader" is a forthcoming learned edited book on the South Wales town of Llantrisant to be published by The Crocels Press Limited (ISBN: 9781785180163).

Edited by Freeman of Llantrisant Jonathan Bishop, William Cordell, Alice Lea and Jacob Wiltshire, the book will take the reader through the history and story of the ‘Parish of the Three Saints’. Now home to the Royal Mint and the Black Army, learn about the relationship between this Welsh town, Edward III’s famous victory at the Battle of Crécy and the construction of Llantrisant Castle, the Parish Church and Penuel Chapel. Experience the growth of Welsh culture and industry through the development of the Llantrisant Male Choir and the Model House. This text will be essential reading for any student or historian with an interest in Llantrisant - the town set on a hill that can not be hid.
