I am inviting authors for the book, entitled "Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19): Health Economic Perspectives".
The book aims to provide healthcare market participates, including health decision makers (e.g. health authorities), pharmaceutical companies, patient organisations, and healthcare providers (e.g. private and public hospitals), with useful insights on the health economic analysis of all aspects of COVID-19. Book chapters are divided into four sections outlined as follows, • Public health Examples: economic evaluation and analysis of the transmission of COVID-19 (e.g. transmission dynamics), of public health policies (social distancing, use of masks, etc.) • Vaccine and therapeutic Example: economic evaluation and analysis of vaccines, medications, and therapy • Healthcare markets and systems Examples: demand or/and supply of healthcare, healthcare market mechanism, evaluation of the performance of healthcare systems and healthcare policies • Macroeconomics and finance Examples: economic costs of COVID-19, financing of health services, healthcare and pharmaceutical industry and the macroeconomy If you are interested, please email me at char [dot] leung [at] deakin [dot] edu [dot] au |
