The large scale adoption of data science systems and solutions by the industry, the finical institutions and social networks is unprecedent for any emerging technology. These sectors are harnessing the benefits of the tremendous amount of data they are collecting while creating insights and business values for advancing their business models. The integration of data science systems with the advance Artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions is moving these systems to the next level where a long-term planning and the ability to evolve is becoming a systematic process. Moreover, the new trend of processing the data at the data generation source using Edge computing systems is reducing the overhead of moving and storing such data to the cloud. No doubts that data science systems are still in their early stages and there is a room for advancement. The International Workshop on Future Data Science Systems (FDSS) is aiming to collect recent contributions on the FDSS domain by focusing on emerging solutions and models while considering the challenges that is facing such systems such as the security and the scalability.
FDSS is looking for a high quality papers offering new insights to the development of data science systems and their integration with AI/ML. Also, we are seeking contributions that involve Cloud/ Edge Computing. Main topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - AI/ML Integration with Future Data Science Systems - Future Data Science Systems and Edge/Fog architectures - Big Data Analytics support for Future Data Science Systems - Federated machine learning at for Future Data Science Systems - Scalability issues for Future Data Science Systems - Security, privacy, trust and provenance for Future Data Science Systems - Architecture, management and process for Future Data Science Systems - Lightweight Machine Learning for Future Data Science Systems - High performance storage system for Future Data Science Systems - Software tools for Future Data Science Systems - Data Engineering for large scale data systems Submission guidelines: Prospective authors are requested to submit new, unpublished manuscripts for inclusion in the upcoming event described in this call for papers. Paper submissions should follow the submission format and guidelines at: https://www.just.edu.jo/icics/icics2021/submissions.html Submission System: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icics2021 |
