Our School is going to organise the National Workshop on Data Science and Advanced Computing. I request you to circulate the following information to your circle as much as possible.

The National Workshop "Data Science and Advanced Computing" will take place from 13th to 14th March 2021 (Saturday and Sunday) for Level-I and from 19th to 21st March 2021 (Friday to Sunday) for Level-II in online mode.

In this 5 Day workshop, about 18 sessions will be conducted by Data Scientists, Industry persons, Academicians from IIT, ISI, NIT, IIIT, other reputed Companies and Institutes in India and foreign delegates.

About the Workshop:

Level I: For 10+2 and UG (Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science/Computer Science)

This level of the workshop mainly focuses on UG students. It is intended to give you a brief idea of data science and the roles of a data scientist in different sectors like Marketing, Banking, Operations, Insurance and Finance, Human Resources, Health care, Supply chain, R&D sectors, etc. Participants will get an opportunity to interact with many data scientists and statisticians from industry and academia worldwide.

Level II: For PG (Mathematics/Statistics)

This level of the workshop is proposed for PG (Mathematics and Statistics) students and will provide an overview of recent trends in emerging research areas in applied mathematics and advanced computing. This workshop will encourage the participants towards new research directions. It provides a wide opportunity for the participants to interact with experts from different parts of the world.
