Due to the global uncertainties and travel restrictions caused by the new omicron coronavirus variant, we have decided to postpone our CITC-12 conference to May 16 - 19, 2022. We feel these new dates will better ensure a safer and smoother travel experience for all of our CITC-12 conference attendees.We are also making our CITC-12 conference hybrid, offering virtual attendance and participation for attendees who cannot make it in person.

The new paper submission deadline is February 15, 2022.

This is the final postponement of our CITC-12 conference and no further changes in the conference dates/schedule will be made. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

The mission of the CITC (Construction In the Twenty-First Century) Conferences is to facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams, especially those involved in engineering, management and technology. In this regard, interdisciplinary integration and international cooperation are encouraged. It is the purpose of CITC to provide an international forum for the discussion of topics important to developing new knowledge in construction and engineering disciplines.

Construction in the 21st Century (CITC) is an organization that executes international conferences to bring together like-minded construction management professionals. CITC events have brought together diverse groups of academics, professionals, government agencies and students from all over the world to contribute to the future growth of the industry.

Submission Guidelines
Papers should be limited to 8 pages, and require an English edit before final submission.

When submitting your full-length paper, all identifying information will be removed from your paper for the blind review process. You will be given a Paper ID to use for all future communications about your paper(s).

Please use the Writing Guidelines (below) when preparing papers. A sample paper and template are also provided for your convenience.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

1) In order to submit a paper to the conference, you will need to complete the following steps:

2) Submit a 6-8 page paper to our submission email, which can be accessed clicking here: CITCpapers@gmail.com (see directions below) written on one of the topics above.*CITC-12 does not require a preliminary abstract submission. Please submit full papers only.*

3) After the paper is submitted, it will go through a double-blind peer-review process, providing beneficial feedback for your final paper submission. Your name and the names of your co-authors will be removed from the paper and a paper ID will be provided. ​

4) You will be able to review the comments of your peer reviewers and make changes to your paper.

5) You will polish your final version (with peer-revision corrections) and submit to CITCpapers@gmail.com with the heading "Paper ID: ###".

Please make sure your final paper adheres to the paper template (see bottom of this page) AND includes all author's names.

6) Once your FINAL paper is submitted, you will need to submit a copyright form, see below.

7) The final step to securing your paper submission is to register for the conference.
