Call For Papers

during the 6th International Conference on Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems HAIS 2011 (May 23-25, 2011, Wroclaw, POLAND)

Combining classifiers are very attractive and effective approach for decision-making. The main goal of session is to discuss the new theoretical trends and the applications of multiple classifiers concept, information fusion and related approaches.

The conference proceedings will be published in Springer Serie Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to publish extended version of their works in several special issues of prestigious international journals.

Papers describing original work in the following and related research topics are welcome:

* Theoretical foundations of multiple classifiers,
* Methods for classifier combination,
* Method of decision making based on the information from different sources,
* Methods for classifier selection,
* Methods of improving qualities of weak classifiers (boosting, bagging, etc.),
* Method of measuring and ensuring diversity in classifier ensembles,
* Design of multiple classifier systems,
* Applications (especially from medical area but not only limited to)
