Call For Papers

The 2011 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robotics, Authmations,
telecommunication facilities, and applications (IRoA - 11)
Gwangju, Korea, Oct. 20-22, 2011

The 2011 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robotics, Automations and
Applications (IRoA-11), co-sponsored by FTRA and IEEE Changwon Section, will
be held in Gwangju, Korea, October 20-22, 2011. The IRoA is a major forum for
scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present the latest re-
search, results, ideas, developments and applications in all areas of intelligent robo-
tics and automations. Furthermore, we expect that the IRoA-11 and its publications
will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this
important subject. The IRoA-11 is co-sponsored by IEEE Changwon Section and
FTRA. In addition the conference is supported by KITCS and KIITFE.

authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral presentations in any
of the areas of interest for this conference. Authors should submit a paper with 4-6
pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. If you want to submit
more than page limitation, you can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee

Please use the IEEE Conference Proceedings format (US letter size, available for do-
wnload here: IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings) for submission.
The Conference Proceedings will be published by IEEE Press (IEEE eXpress Confer-
ence Publishing group) and all papers of the proceedings will be included in the IEEE
Xplorer (indexed in EI).

Call for Workshops
In conjunction with PDCAT 2011, we will organize some workshops. The workshop proposals should be submitted to the Workshops Chairs, Yang Sun Lee (

Workshops for presenting papers from industrial companies and papers on any specific topics which can support the conference are very welcome. It is expected that the proceedings of the workshop programs will be published by IEEE Press (IEEE eXpress Conference Publishing group). In general, a workshop takes one day, although multiple-days and half-day workshops are welcome.

The workshop proposal should include following information:

1. Title of the workshop: International Workshop on ...
2. Workshop Organizers(s): name, affiliation, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail.
3. Brief description of the workshop (several hundred words)
4. Expected number of papers to be submitted
5. Call for paper of the workshop (draft version - 1 page CFP MS Word version)
6. Tentative list of program committee members (Name, affiliation, country, email address)
7. Your workshop web address (Tentative)

Each workshop will start to distribute a call for paper after receiving the notification. Papers submitted to each workshop will be reviewed by the program committee and external reviewers of the workshop.

Financial Supports for Workshop Organizer:

If workshops are constructed successfully, the organizer (One organizer per workshop) will get:
- At least 8 papers registration: Free registration
- At least 16 papers registration: Free registration and Free accommodation (max 2 nights).

If you have any questions about the CFPs and papers submission, please email to
