The 1st International Workshop on Graph-structured Data Bases (GDB 2011)
http://www.comp.hkbu.edu.hk/~gdb2011/ In Conjunction with DASFAA 2011 22 April, Hong Kong, China ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Recent applications on graph-structured data, for example, biological and chemical databases, social networks, business process models, the Semantic Web and XML, have sparked a renewed interest on graph-structured databases. The GDB workshop targets at bringing academic and industrial researchers together to share their knowledge and opinions on visions, challenges and solutions on graph-structured databases. The workshop solicits original research contributions, reports on prototype systems, reports on industrial experience, position paper and vision paper on a wide range of topics of graph-structured databases. The main topics of interest covered by the workshop include, but certainly not limited to: Query models and languages for graph-structured data Performance optimization in graph-structured databases Graph pattern matching Mining graph-structured data Querying graph-structured data streams Querying the Semantic Web (RDF) graphs, ontologies or social networks Keyword search on graph-structured data Graph-structured databases on modern architecture Querying distributed and/or heterogeneous graph-structured data Query visualization and interactive interfaces for graph-structured data Querying biological or chemical databases Applications of graph data management including Business Process Management and geometrical information systems SUBMISSION ------------------- Authors should submit papers reporting original works that are currently not under review or published elsewhere. All papers are limited to *12* pages and should be submitted in PDF format following Springer-Verlag's LNCS manuscript submission guidelines, available at: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html All papers should be submitted in PDF format using the workshop online submission system at: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/GDB2011/ IMPORTANT DATES ------------------- Paper submission deadline: *December 15, 2010* Author Notification: January 15, 2011 Final Camera-ready Copy Deadline: January 22, 2011 Workshop: April 22, 2011 WORKSHOP CO-ORGANIZERS ----------------- * Sourav S Bhowmick Nanyang Technological University, Singapore * Byron Choi Hong Kong Baptist University, China * Wei Wang The Univesity of New South Wales, Australia Contact us: gdb2011@comp.hkbu.edu.hk PROGRAM COMMITTEE ----------------- Yasuhito Asano, Kyoto University, Japan Stephane Bressan, National University of Singapore, Singapore Lei Chen, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong James Cheng, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Bingsheng He, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Yiping Ke, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Xuemin Lin, University of New South Wales, Australia Chengfei Liu, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia Eric Lo, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Wilfred Ng, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Lu Qin, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Sherif Sakr, University of New South Wales, Australia Nan Tang, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdoms Jeffrey Xu Yu, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Shuigeng Zhou, Fudan University, China |
