Call For Papers

The main objective of the Emerging Technologies in Biomedical Engineering and Sustainable TeleMedicine book is to publish the recent advancement and trends in this field. Telemedicine is not in competition with the traditional system and services of healthcare. However, it should improve the quality of services offered by contributing to the homogenization of medicine without any geographical barriers. Telemedicine transforms local hospitals, with limited services, into a node of an integrated network. In this manner, these nodes start to play an important role in preventive medicine and in high-level management of chronic diseases. The main challenge in telemedicine development in a country consists of creating human capacity in “health informatics” and in “e-health management”. We invite unpublished and original contributions in the following non-exhaustive fields:
1. Synchronous and asynchronous telemedicine with deep discussions on e-health applications;
2. Virtual Medical Assistance,
3. Sensors and Wearable Devices,
4. Real-time Virtual Visits,
5. Tele-monitoring hubs and sensors,
6. Internet of Things,
7. Augmented and Virtual Reality in Health,
8. e-learning Technologies in Telemedicine,
9. Genome and Sequence Analysis,
10. Healthcare Enabling Informatics,
11. Bio-informatics, Medical Informatics and Systems Biology,
12. Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics,
13. Modeling and Simulation,
14. Data Visualization in Medecine,
15. Biomedical Text Mining and Ontologies,
16. Biological Data Mining and Visualizatio,
17. Covid-19 and e-health
