# Scope
Digitalisation is transforming the retail industry into “Digital Retail”, a combination of traditional physical retailing and digital technologies. The retail landscape and customer needs are evolving towards omnichannel journeys. It is essential to understand how to shape technologies, address customer requirements, and create enriching shopping experiences in the omnichannel era. The aim of the workshop is bringing together research in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and Digital Retail, specifically in the field of tension of customer interaction with retail technologies and retailers interaction with decision support tools, which can bridge the gap for enabling and designing omnichannel and convenient shopping experiences to consumers.

# Topics of Interest
The intersection of HCI and Digital Retail can bridge the gap for enabling and designing omnichannel and convenient shopping experiences to consumers and retailers equally. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Customers interaction with retail technologies, such as:
Recommendation Systems;
Shopping Assistants;
Smart Mirrors;
Chatbots;
Payment Technologies;
Augmented Reality;
Social Media Platforms.

- Retailers Interaction with Decision Support Tools, such as:
Business Intelligence Tools;
Dashboards and KPIs;
Artificial Intelligence and Explainable AI Applications for Decision-making in Retail;
Social Media Analytics and Monitoring Tools in Retail;
Decision Support Tools for Retail Strategies (e.g., Scorecards) and Operations (e.g., Pricing, Inventory Management, Logistics).

# Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in any of the topics listed above. Instructions for preparing the manuscript are given below (Author’s Kit). Papers must be submitted electronically via the web-based submission system PRIMORIS.

# Publications
All papers accepted and presented at the conference venue will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book - under an ISBN reference, and available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library (www.scitepress.org/DigitalLibrary), member of CrossRef (www.crossref.org), where every paper is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings will be submitted to various international indexers, such as: Google Scholar, Scopus, EI (Elsevier Index), Semantic Scholar, DBLP, and others.
