(JoRSG) is an international electronic Journal focused towards the rapid publication of fundamental research papers on all areas of Remote sensing and Geographical Information Systems. The focus and the scope of journal includes: Aerial Photography, Cartography / Map, Publishing, GIS, Gioinformatics, Geo Physics, GPS, Image Compression, Image Processing, Remote Sensing, Spatial Science, Surveying, and Mapping. All contributions to the journal are rigorously refereed and are selected on the basis of quality and originality of the work. The journal publishes the most significant new research and review work in all areas pertaining to its scope and research being done in the world, thus ensuring its scientific priority and significance.

To streamline the review process, we ask authors to adhere to these guidelines:

STM Journals accepts only manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration for publication by other print or electronic media. Authors are required to disclose any direct or indirect conflict of interest or appearance of conflict of interest.Should STM Journals agree to publish a submission, the author(s) agree to transfer the copyright to STM Journals.

All references in text must be placed within parentheses, using the first author’s last name and the year of publication, e.g., (Mehrotra 2009). Additionally, at the end of the paper, include an alphabetical list of all citations mentioned in text, and format each reference in accordance with the American Medical Association Manual of Style (9th edition).

For submitting the manuscripts in electronic form please visit and register as an author, you will be sent a user id and password at your email id.

The manuscript submission, tracking and review process is entirely web based and at any given point of time authors can send email to for support.

Please include a following information with any submission:
•The manuscript’s title and a brief explanation of the importance of the study to our readers.
•A statement affirming that this work is not under consideration for publication by other media, and indicating that it has not been published elsewhere.
•An unambiguous disclosure statement identifying any potential financial conflicts of interest, and acknowledging the source(s) of financial support.
•A list of all authors. Authorship is defined by Section 2 of the Uniform Requirements. For each author, include full name (given, middle initial, and surname), advanced degrees, pertinent affiliations, mailing addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses.

•A designation for a corresponding author.
•Consent to transfer copyright to STM Journals on publication.
•Signatures of all authors.
Manuscripts in electronic word-processing files should be no more than 4,000 words including abstract and references, but not including tables, figures, or illustrations. Tables, figures, illustrations, and references should be prepared as specified in the Uniform Requirements. We may newly render figures and illustrations. Each table and figure should be referenced in the text, but the information they convey should not duplicate text. Please include an abstract of 250 or fewer words, summarizing the key points of the work and including key terms. Please also include written permission from publishers to reproduce previously published illustrations and tables.

For manuscripts other than review articles and essays, the text should be organized under the following headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Spell out abbreviations and acronyms on first reference. Acknowledgments may be included after the body of the text.

References should not appear at the bottom of text pages, but should be included at the end of the document in an alphabetical list. Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness of references.

STM Journals will review the manuscript for appropriateness. Articles being considered for publication will be sent to expert peer reviewers selected by the editor, while other submissions will be discharged promptly. Manuscripts recommended by peer reviewers for publication are edited in-house. If the reviewers recommend extensive revisions, however, authors may be asked to revise their work and then to resubmit the article electronically.

STM Journals reserves the right to edit text for clarity, style, and length. Final drafts will be sent to authors for review before publication.
