TAAI 2020 Call for Papers ##################################################################### The 25th International Conference on Technologies and Applications of Artificial Intelligence (TAAI 2020) is an annual leading conference on artificial intelligence and a well-established conference series in the AI community in Taiwan. TAAI 2020 is mainly sponsored by the Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence (TAAI) and hosted by the National Central University, Taiwan. The conference will provide a forum for researchers to share their insights in various aspects of artificial intelligence from theory, techniques, applications and implementation. As usual, TAAI 2020 consists of both the international track and domestic track. Papers on academic researches and industrial applications of artificial intelligence and related areas are welcome. TAAI 2020 is open to international participants. We also welcome experienced scholars to organize special sessions to detail specific topics. --------------------------------------------------- Topics of Interest --------------------------------------------------- The conference will cover a wide range of AI research topics and applications, including but not limited to: •Autonomous Agents and Distributed AI •Computer Vision / Pattern Recognition •Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery •Fuzzy Systems and Fuzzy Neural Networks •Genetic and Evolutionary Computation •Knowledge Representation and Automatic Reasoning •Computer Games •Federated Learning •Knowledge-Based Systems •Machine Learning •Natural Language Processing •Problem Solving and Search •Recommender Systems •Reinforcement Learning •Speech Recognition and Synthesis •Web Intelligence and Social Networks --------------------------------------------------- Important Dates --------------------------------------------------- Paper Submission: Aug 31, 2020 Notification: October 12, 2020 Camera-ready and Registration: October 19, 2020 --------------------------------------------------- Paper Submission --------------------------------------------------- Papers for the international track have to be written and presented in English. Manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format and formatted using the IEEE 2-column format, including the bibliography within 6 pages. Submissions to TAAI 2020 are single-blind, i.e. the names affiliations of the authors should be listed in the submitted version. Selected papers from the international track will be invited to submit an extended version for a special issue in the Journal of Information Science and Engineering after the conference. Papers for the domestic tracks can be written and presented in either Chinese or English within 4 pages. Domestic papers will be published in local conference proceedings and indexed by TAAI online digital. Accepted papers in natural language processing and speech recognition will be invited to submit an extended version for the International Journal of Computational Linguistics and Chinese Language Processing after the conference. TAAI 2020 uses the CMT system for paper submission. Please submit your paper via the link here: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/TAAI2020/ --------------------------------------------------- Registration and Presentation --------------------------------------------------- At least one author per accepted paper must register and attend the conference to present for the accepted submission to be included in the conference proceedings. --------------------------------------------------- Covid-19 Announcement --------------------------------------------------- As Taiwan marks 60 consecutive days with zero new local infections on June 11, quarantine rules for business travelers will loosen gradually. Thus, we are planning to hold a physical conference in Taipei. However, we will provide suitable online options if need be. |
