SecMT 2020 : International Workshop on Security in Mobile Technologies
Call For Papers
Despite being small computing devices, smartphones offer a wide range of functionalities and services to their users, which are currently encountered to be more than one third of the world population. This range of features introduces new security and privacy threats, which expose users to serious damages. Even though research in mobile security has been active over the past 10 years, as long as the mobile technology is used, new challenges will always come up. The purpose of this workshop is to bring researchers, hardware and software developers, as well as practitioners and policy makers, to explore the latest advances in the security and privacy for mobile devices.
Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published elsewhere or has submitted in parallel to any other venue with formally published proceedings. Information about submissions may be shared with program chairs of other conferences for that purpose. Submissions must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgement or obvious references. Each submission must begin with a title, short abstract, and a list of keywords. The introduction should summarise the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. Standard submissions must follow the original LNCS with a page limit of 18 pages in total, including references. Short papers about early-stage or ongoing research will have a page limit of 8 pages in total, including references. Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the workshop and must make a full version of their paper available online.
There will be a best paper award.
The accepted papers will have post-proceedings published by Springer.
