Topical Issue on Smart Multimedia and Applications (Selected Best Papers of CoCoNet'20), Springer SN Computer Science

Smart Multimedia is a promising field in the industry as well as research that integrates the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and applications. The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT) tends to the development of smart multimedia in almost all application areas such as healthcare, surveillance, security, communication, and so on. The current techniques that led to the acclaim of smart multimedia are the advancements in the technologies and algorithms in the field of computer vision, cognitive computing, pattern recognition, video (or image) processing, human-computer interaction (HCI), media streaming, etc.

The special issue aims to publish selected best papers of Fourth International Conference on Computing and Network Communications (CoCoNet'20) in the related areas in the Springer SN Computer Science Journal. CoCoNet'20 will be held in Chennai, India on October 14-17, 2020. All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process.
