Call For Papers

The Third International Workshop on Wireless Network Algorithm and Theory
(WiNA-2010)
Hong Kong SAR, China, December 11-13, 2010
http://www.chu.edu.tw/~wina/2010/
(Co-located with the 8th IEEE/IFIP International Conference on
Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing)
http://www.euc2010.org/

The Third International Workshop on Wireless Networks Algorithm and
Theory (WiNA 2010), as an international workshop, is devoted to deeper
understanding in the algorithms and fundamental problems of wireless
networks including mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks,
vehicular ad hoc networks, underwater sensor networks, and all kinds of
wireless networks. The workshop is intended to encourage cooperation among
researchers in wireless networking algorithms, and push the theoretical and
practical research forward for a deeper understanding in the fundamental
algorithm, modeling theory, and analysis techniques of wireless networks.

WiNA-2010 is in conjunction with 8th IEEE/IFIP International Conference
on Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing (IEEE/IFIP EUC 2010) and all accepted
papers will be published in IEEE CS Press (EI indexed). All submissions must
describe original research, not published or currently under review for
another workshop, conference, or journal. Prepare your paper in the IEEE CS
format of no more than 8 pages. Submit your paper as a PDF file at the WiNA
2010 submission site: http://www.chu.edu.tw/~wina/2010/.
Each submission should be regarded as an undertaking that, if the paper be
accepted, at least one of the authors must register for the conference and
attend the conference to present the work in order for the paper to
be included in the IEEE Digital Library.

Workshop Topics (include but are not limited to the following)
- Algorithms and theory for wireless networks including mobile ad hoc
networks, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad hoc networks, underwater
sensor networks, and any kind of multi-hop wireless networks
- Theoretical graph and geometric models for multiple-hop wireless networks
- Complexity analysis of algorithms for wireless mobile environments
- Routing algorithms and strategies in multi-hop wireless networks
- Power optimization strategies in mobile wireless networks.
- Throughput, capacity, and delay analysis on mobile wireless networks.
- Data and resource management in wireless mobile networks
- Clustering and cooperative strategies in mobile multi-hop wireless networks
- Coverage and survivability problems in wireless sensor networks
- Modeling for tracking and locating mobile users
- Information theory and network coding for multi-hop wireless networks
- Security, privacy, and cryptographic protocols theory for multi-hop
wireless networks
