The School of Natural and Applied Sciences at the Sol Plaatje University is the host for the 2nd IEEE IMITEC 2020 conference.
The theme of the conference is “From Kilobyte to Exabyte”. We are faced with the challenge of finding data-driven solutions to data-congested environments, towards preventing undesirable consequences. To cater for a broad audience, the 2nd IEEE IMITEC 2020 conference will include: preliminary workshops on cutting-edge topics research paper sessions keynote addresses. Authors are invited from all over the world to submit previously unpublished work for possible presentation at the 2nd IEEE IMITEC 2020 conference. All papers will be evaluated based on their originality, depth and relevance to the conference themes, technical and scientific merit, clarity and vital insights, and potential for long-term impact. New-idea papers are particularly encouraged. Papers will undergo double-blind peer reviews by an international panel of experts to ensure that only high-quality papers are admitted in order to attract interesting and thought-provoking sessions at the conference. All submissions must be in English as it is the official conference language. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and the IEEE digital library. International delegates who cannot travel to South Africa would be allowed to use video conferencing facilities. Submissions must follow the IEEE International Conference Proceedings Series prescribed format with no additional libraries or special fonts. The MS-Word template for the papers is provided. Submissions that do not follow the template may be excluded from the conference proceedings. The maximum paper length of 8 pages will be strictly enforced.
