Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain are the two most talked-about technology developments in the last two years by a considerable margin. There is some explanation of why so much interest has been paid to these developments. AI promises to simplify a lot of tasks and is also better at designing complicated scenarios than humans. Blockchain, on the other hand, provides more digital access and protection while still reducing the overhead and decentralized control of large organizations.
Both blockchain and AI are the new-age, disruptive technologies that have created quite a furor. They have a promising future and several entities intend to capitalize on the attributes of these technologies to make their business and operations future-ready.
AI and Blockchain technologies have infiltrated all areas of our lives, from manufacturing to healthcare and beyond. Cybersecurity is an industry that has been significantly affected by this technology and maybe more so in the future.
Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain have shown potential in providing various methods for threat detection, while both differ in nature, the combination of the two or even standalone capabilities can be of great help in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is of utmost importance because in this era of digitalization latest attack vectors need to ward off.
The upcoming book will go in-depth showing how Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence can be used for cybersecurity applications. Merging AI and Blockchain can be used to prevent any data breach, identity theft, cyber-attacks or criminal acts in transactions.
The main goal of this project is to encourage both researchers and practitioners to share and exchange their experiences and recent studies between academia and industry. The overall objectives are:
To improve the awareness of readers about merging AI and Blockchain for cybersecurity applications.
To analyze and present the state-of-the-art of the AI/Blockchain technology and cybersecurity and related technologies and methodologies.
To highlight and discuss the recent development and emerging trends in AI/Blockchain for Cybersecurity and Privacy.
To propose new models, practical solutions and technological advances related to AI/Blockchain for Cybersecurity and Privacy.
To discuss new AI/Blockchain models, prototypes and protocols for Cybersecurity and Privacy.
Authors are invited to submit their full chapter by December 05, Manuscripts submitted for the book must be original, must not be previously published or currently under review anywhere. Submitted manuscripts should respect the standard guidelines of the Springer book chapter format. Manuscripts must be prepared using Latex, or Word, and according to the Springer requirements that can be downloaded from the (link) and the Chapter should contain in between 15-24 pages. Manuscripts that do not follow the formatting rules will be rejected without review. Prospective authors should send their manuscripts electronically through the easychair submission system as mentioned below:
NB: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book for publication. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process
The chapter prior to submission should be checked for plagiarism from licensed plagiarism software like Turnitin, iThenticate, etc. The similarity content should not exceed 25% (in any case either self -sourced contents or others).
