The 5th Asia Modelling Symposium (AMS2011) aims to provide an outstanding opportunity to share and exchange knowledge and experience in the mathematical/analytical modelling and computer simulation fields for scientific professionals, engineers, academics and industrial people worldwide.

AMS2011 will be held over 3 day period in Manila, Philippines, known as Pearl of the Orient within the Southeast Asian region. Philippines is composed of more than 7100 islands in three major areas: Luzon to the north, Visayas in the centre, and Mindanao down south. Its culture has affinities with America and Europe especially Spain due to three centuries of colonial rule.
