As software systems become increasingly autonomous, the need for explainability across the entire software engineering lifecycle has never been more critical. Ex-ASE aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to foster a cross-cutting community at the intersection of automation and human-centered software engineeringโ€” from requirements and architecture to testing, deployment, and adaptive systems.
