Dear Colleagues,

The annual NanoTR conference series are considered to be the premier scientific event in Turkey in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with broad attendance by the scientific community and highlighted by invited talks delivered by national and international experts in various areas. Now, the 13th installment in the NanoTR conference series will be organized in Antalya, between the dates of 22th and 25th of October, 2017 under the decree of Bilkent University.

While the impact of nanoscience and nanotechnology in our daily lives is felt in an ever-increasing way, continuous development in these fields is expected to result in the realization of revolutionary ideas in fields as diverse as energy, medicine and electronics. Within this context, the NanoTR conference series present an ideal platform for fruitful exchange of ideas which is crucial for scientific advancement.

More than 500 national and international participants are expected at the 13th NanoTR Conference, including invited speakers, academicians, entrepreneurs, private sector representatives, post-doctoral scientists, as well asgraduate and undergraduatestudents.

Having organized two successful international meetings with the“under-one-roof” concept in Antalya, we have decided to hold this year’s meeting in Antalya, as well, specifically at Papillon Ayscha in Belek - a very compact hotel which offers excellent meeting facilities to foster ample scientific and social interaction.
