The 4th Swiss Conference on Data Science – SDS|2017 – brings together opinion-leaders, practitioners, decision-makers and researchers with interest in Data Science. The goal of SDS|2017 is to foster the exchange of ideas specifically for the Swiss market and to sustain the community of Data Scientists in Switzerland

We invite best practice- and use case-oriented talks with technical depth and practical applicability in all areas of Data Science. Demos and show-cases are highly welcome. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
– Data product design, data-centric business models
– Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Industry
– Applications of machine learning, information retrieval, data warehousing, and analytics
– Cyber security in relation to data science
– Demonstration and evaluation of tools and technologies for big (and small) data
– Visualization and communication of results
– Ethics, privacy and law in relation to Data Science
– Best practices in Data Science and lessons learned

The duration of each talk is 30 minutes + 10 mins Q&A.
