The INIT/AERFAI Summer School on Machine Learning is organized by the Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) of the University Jaume I of Castellón Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) of the University Jaume I of Castellón, and co-sponsored by the Spanish Association of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis (AERFAI). The focus of this Summer School is to study fundamental and advanced methods aimed at discovering new challenges and trends of Machine Learning, Data Analysis and Data Mining, from theory to practice. This event is open to graduate students, researchers and professionals who are interested in learning or refreshing their knowledge about this exciting field.

The Summer School 2017 is organized as a five-days intensive course to be held June 26-30, 2017 in Benicàssim (Spain). Leading researchers in their respective areas of expertise shall present each tutorial, followed by a practice session with demos and/or specific software in order for participants to gain a better understanding of the theory. Non-formal poster sessions will also be organized for the participants to present their current research and interact with their scientific peers.
