Special Issue on Plagiarism Detection and Authorship Analysis

http://ccc.inaoep.mx/~mmontesg/pmwiki.php/Main/SpecialIssueOnPlagiarismDetectionAndAuthorshipAnalysis

Overview
-------------------
The Web is not only the greatest repository of digital information ever
invented but also the largest communication platform. Its current
development has allowed the exchange of information among people from
different places, ages, cultures and conditions. However, it also has
facilitated the dissemination of anonymous texts as well as the
inappropriate copy and use of content from others. This situation has raised
great research interest in plagiarism detection technologies and authorship
analysis approaches, which focus on answering important questions such as,
given a document, is it an original? Who wrote it? What are its author's
traits?

In particular this special issue aims at compiling research progress in all
aspects of plagiarism detection and authorship analysis as well as on their
challenges and applications to business intelligence, personalized search,
computer forensics and security.
