ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is an agreement of ASEAN countries in enhancing cooperation in economy that have been imposed on December 31 2015. This partnership aims to create a free flow of goods, services, and a skilled worker with free flows of investments and increasing the competition among ASEAN community. In order to compete in AEC, communication skills and other soft skills are required an international outlook, this is what lies behind the holding of the International Conference “The Development of Language and Education toward Asean Economic Community” (ELIC)
