CID2IE 2027 is co-organized by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and the Research Institute for Smart Energy (RISE) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and supported by the Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering (APISE).

Call for Papers
Topics include, but are not limited to, five tracks:
Track 1: Cutting-edge Technologies and Interdisciplinary Integration — AI-enabled intelligent O&M and fault diagnosis of electrical systems; distributed energy control integrating power electronics and edge computing; quantum computing in power flow optimization and dispatching
Track 2: New Power System and Energy Transition — Inertia support and frequency response technologies; intelligent microgrid and cluster control with source-grid-load-storage coordination; power market mechanisms from an electricity-carbon synergy perspective
Track 3: High-end Electrical Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing — Superconducting and HVDC transmission equipment for deep-sea offshore wind power; digital twin factories and flexible production lines for electrical equipment
Track 4: Digital Transformation and Industrial Ecosystem — Data element rights, circulation and privacy computing in the power industry; open-source ecosystems and independent controllability of power software/hardware; low-latency 5G-RedCap/6G applications in power IoT
Track 5: Green Low-carbon Development and Industry-Education Integration — Full-life-cycle carbon footprint accounting and green supply chain management; safety early warning and echelon utilization standards for retired energy storage batteries

Publication
All registered and presented papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings (online publishing); the publisher will submit articles to Engineering Village, Scopus, Web of Science, and other databases for review and indexing after publication.
