2024 6th International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems (PRIS 2024) is organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE), will be held in Hong Kong, S.A.R, China from July 25-27, 2024.

This conference is aimed at providing a platform for all researchers and engineers to share ideas, highly developed skills and successful practices to others. The conference will last for 3 days with the reception to be held on the first day to meet and mingle with conference chairs, session chairs and other participants.

We would like to invite you to join us in this important event and share your recent advance development and research finding in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems to all attendees. Besides, it is also a good opportunity for you and your family to enjoy the culture and view in Hong Kong. We are looking forward to seeing you in PRIS 2024.

●Publication and Indexing
1, All the registered and presented papers will be included in the volume of ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ISBN: 979-8-4007-1825-0). The publisher will submit articles to EI Compendex, Scopus, Web of Science and other databases for review and indexing after publication.

2, Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international journal:

1) "AI-Driven Cybejrsecurity in IoT-Based Systems"

A special issue of Sensors(ISSN 1424-8220). This special issue belongs to the section "Intelligent Sensors".

●Speakers
Prof. Ruxu Du, The Zhongke Jianchi Biotechnology Co., Ltd, China
Prof. Ruxu Du was born in China in 1955. He received his Master’s degree from the South China University of Technology in 1983 and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan in 1989. He has taught in the University of Windsor, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada (1991⎯1999), the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida. USA (1999⎯2001), the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR (2001⎯2018), and the South China University of Technology (2018⎯2021). Prof. Du is the founding director of the Guangzhou Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Advanced Technology (2011⎯2016), the founding dean of S. M. Wu School of Intelligent Engineering, South China University of Technology, as well as the founding director of the Institute of Precision Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prof. Hujun Yin, The University of Manchester, UK
Hujun Yin received the BEng degree in Electronic Engineering and the MSc degree in Signal Processing, both from Southeast University, and the PhD degree in Neural Networks from University of York. He joined the University of Manchester (UMIST before the merge) in 1996 as a Post-doc Research Associate, was appointed a Lecturer in 1998 and subsequently promoted to Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor. He has also been the Head of Business Engagement in AI and Data for the Faculty of Science and Engineering since 2019.
