Call For Papers

With over one million electric vehicles sold so far, electric vehicles are becoming increasingly available and accessible to researchers. This workshop aims to focus on the system interoperations, real-world data analysis, and practical application prototypes for electric vehicles (including electric cars, electric bikes, electric drones). By sharing and exchanging the practical knowledge of electric vehicles, we hope to bolster further synergy and collaborations for a wide range of electric vehicle research in practice.

Papers are invited in all emerging aspects of electric vehicle systems, and relevant data analysis, applications and services, such as:

- Methodologies for interoperating electric vehicle systems (including in-vehicle computing systems, battery monitoring systems, car electrical systems)

- Novel mobile and cloud applications for electric vehicles including those interfacing with in-home sensors, smartphones, and other sensor systems

- Practical test-beds of electric vehicles (including electric cars, electric bikes, electric drones)

- Empirical and experimental data traces of electric vehicles

- Interconnection with smart grid and smart building management systems

- Analytical results for the mobility, user adoption, energy consumption, driving behavior, and battery characteristics of electric vehicles

- Measurement, simulation, and performance evaluation tools for electric vehicles

- Data analytics for diagnosis and maintenance of electric vehicles

- Methodologies for provisioning, operating, and managing charging station systems

- Data privacy and cyber-security of electric vehicles

- Intelligent self-driving electric vehicles

The best papers will get an opportunity to present their work as “lightning talks” in the ACM eEnergy main conference.
