The International Conference on AI Research (ICAIR 2024) has developed into a key forum for academics and students, whether social scientists, natural scientists or philosophers come together to explore the future of society in the context of AI and Robotics. Many aspects of AI are now the subject of peer reviewed academic research, including the increasing use of Chatbots and GenAI in academe and in society at large. This conference is interested in all aspects of artificial intelligence as it affects society, education and the workplace. Topics from machine learning, deep learning and neural networks to building a business case for AI implementation, and the risks, social and ethical implications are welcome. The conference is also interested in discussing the dangers posed by AI as well as what can be done to minimise the use of this powerful technology by malicious actors.
