Workshop Overview
-----------------
With the advent of mobile devices, more and more applications and services become available for mobile users. As users can now interact with these services almost anytime and anywhere, a massive number of user behavior data, which contains rich information like time, location and device info, have been recorded. Mining this information-rich behavior data of mobile users can not only help improve the efficiency of the society, e.g. improving the road traffic condition and traffic event alerting, but also is extremely important for consumer-side business for better user experience, such as mobile ecommerce and mobile search. Though the topic of mobile data mining have studied for years, there are still many technical and domain challenges inherent in designing and implementing effective data mining solutions for different mobile-based applications.

To that end, this workshop offers an opportunity to address the related research challenges and the possible solutions from both academic and industrial perspective, which includes but not limited to:
· spatial-temporal data mining
· user modeling and targeting in mobile environment
· user behavior prediction (e.g. POI recommendation, purchase prediction for mobile ecommerce)
· recommendation algorithms and recommender systems for products or services in consumer end
· mobile data mining for mobile search
· privacy issues in mobile data mining

Important Dates
-----------------
Paper Submission Deadline: July 25, 2015
Author Notification: Sep 1, 2015

Submission Guidelines
-----------------
Authors are invited to submit original papers that must not have been submitted to or published in any other workshop, conference, or journal. The workshop will accept full papers describing completed work, work-in-progress papers with preliminary results, as well as short position papers reporting inspiring and intriguing new ideas. All papers should be submitted through the submission system of ICDM 2015 (https://wi-lab.com/cyberchair/2015/icdm15/cbc_index.php). Submission guidelines: http://icdm2015.stonybrook.edu/content/submission.
All papers will be peer-reviewed by members of the Program Committee and be evaluated for originality, significance of the contribution, technical correctness and presentation. At least one author of each accepted papers must present their work at the workshop. Accepted papers will be included in ICDM 2015 Workshops proceedings published by IEEE.Extended versions of selected best papers will be considered for publication in special issues of SCI-index international journals.
