The effectiveness of services provided are now a necessity, especially in an environment that is trending towards openness. People are being set upon open information and demanding access to information and knowledge without boundaries.

Libraries play a huge role as the places where information and knowledge have been stored. To serve the demanding nature of today's requirements, the library needs to reposition itself by applying the new knowledge and efficient strategies with regard to the global challenge of being an open Library.
