The 14th International Workshop on Semantic Computing and AI for Social Networks and Organizational Knowledge (SCSN-AI 2026) From User Information to Social Knowledge in the Age of AI and LLMs http://pa.icar.cnr.it/scsn26/ In conjunction with ICSC 2026 (IEEE International Conference on Semantic Computing) February 2-4, 2026, Laguna Hills, California The IEEE SCSN 2026 workshop will be held with a hybrid mode - You may join the conference in person or online. Overview ------------ The explosion of user-generated content on social networks such as Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, WeChat, Snapchat, Reddit, and LinkedIn provides unprecedented opportunities for organizations and researchers to extract actionable knowledge. Organizations can leverage social network analysis to understand employee innovation, knowledge sharing, and leadership dynamics. Network models highlight how information exchange, social cohesion, and shared values build organizational social capital. Semantic Computing and AI play a central role in transforming raw social data into structured, actionable knowledge. Recent advances in large language models (LLMs), generative AI, attention-based neural networks, explainable AI (XAI), and graph-based reasoning have opened new avenues to model, predict, and optimize social and organizational behaviors. At the same time, the challenges of processing, storing, and securing massive, heterogeneous social data remain significant. New methods are needed to handle real-time data, ensure privacy, enhance explainability, and integrate AI-driven insights into decision-making processes. The workshop will take place February 2–4, 2026, in conjunction with the 20th IEEE International Conference on Semantic Computing (ICSC 2026) (http://www.ieee-icsc.org/). It provides a forum for researchers, industry practitioners, and domain experts in semantic computing, AI, social networks, and organizational sciences to exchange innovative approaches, tools, and applications for the AI-empowered social network era. Topics of interest ---------------------- We welcome original research and case studies in areas including, but not limited to: - Semantic and AI-driven social media analytics - User modeling, social profiling, and behavior prediction using LLMs or deep learning - Knowledge graphs and semantic modeling of social networks - Explainable AI (XAI) for social network and organizational applications - AI-augmented recommender systems and content personalization - Social context modeling and semantic extraction from heterogeneous data - Real-time social network mining and sentiment/opinion analysis - Collective intelligence modeling and social decision support systems - Mobile social networking and IoT-integrated social applications - Distributed semantic computing and cloud-based AI for social data - Ethical, privacy-preserving, and secure AI in social networks - Collaborative filtering, prediction, and social influence modeling - AI-based organizational knowledge and innovation analytics - Digital twins of social or organizational networks - Emerging AI techniques for energy and infrastructure systems informed by social behavior - LLMs, generative AI, and intelligent agents for social, organizational, and urban planning - Human-centered AI, cognitive architectures, and attention-based reasoning in social systems - Generative AI and social interaction - Ethical issues in managing social interaction Important Dates -------------------- Abstract Submission Deadline: November 23, 2025 (optional) Submission Deadline: November 30, 2025 Camera-Ready Submission and Registration Deadline: December 31, 2025 Organizing Committee ----------------------------- Shady Khalil, University of Hertfordshire, UK Jianquan Liu, NEC, Japan Giovanni Pilato, Italian National Research Council, Italy TPC ---------------------------- (TBA) Submission Guidelines ---------------------------- Manuscripts must be written (6 pages maximum, all included) in English and follow the instructions in the Manuscript Formatting and Templates page given in ICSC 2026 website (http://www.ieee-icsc.org/) at the “Submission” section. Papers must be original and not be submitted to or accepted by any other conference or journal. Only electronic submission will be accepted. Technical paper authors MUST submit their manuscripts through EasyChair ( https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=scsn26), by following the instructions given on the SCSN website (http://pa.icar.cnr.it/scsn26/). Manuscripts may only be submitted in PDF format. Each paper will be peer-reviewed. Papers accepted by the workshop will be published in the conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press. Authors are encouraged to submit an abstract (before the abstract submission deadline) and update the abstract to a full paper before the deadline of full paper submission. For any question regarding the workshop please contact the organizers at scsn-ws (at) pa.icar.cnr.it http://www.ieee-icsc.org/ |
