Call For Papers

The Computer Vision and Graphics Research Group of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Havana is pleased to announce the organization of a Special Track on Computer Vision and Graphics (STCV&G) as part of the 11th International Workshop on Operations Research (IWOR 2015).

IWOR 2015 is the 11th edition of a series of biannual meetings held in Havana and dedicated to the discussion of recent results and experiences in the use of Operations Research (OR). Previous editions have been devoted to Medicine, Transport, Biological and Economical applications of OR. The contributions have spread several papers which, besides appearing in the proceedings, have been published in well-known journals. Some international joint research projects have also had their roots in the scientific exchange facilitated by previous IWOR meetings.
This time IWOR extend her scope to accommodate the STCV&G. Topics of this track, among others, will be:

Computer Vision
3D Reconstruction
Image and Video Analysis
Image and Video Processing
Motion Tracking
Object recognition
Pose Estimation
RGB-D cameras
Simultaneous Localization and Mapping
Stereo Matching

Computer Graphics
Real-time Rendering Techniques
GPU Programming
Graphics languages and platforms
Lighting models
Computational Geometry
Volume Rendering
Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality
Web technologies for VR
Procedural Modelling

We invite all interested researchers to submit an extended abstract (PDF document) with a maximal extension of five pages. The extended abstract must follow the format of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science from Springer. Templates of this document style for the LaTeX typesetting system can be downloaded by clicking here some examples can be downloaded here.

The extended abstract can be submitted to any member of the academic committee.
